Mary Montgomery is an educator, writer,
editor, and cancer survivor. She was born in Canada (on December 6, 1955),
traveled extensively in Europe, received her Bachelors degree in Switzerland, her Masters in Iowa,
and has settled down to enjoy early retirement in sunny Texas. Long interested in education, she has both taught and
been an administrator at the elementary, high school, university, and adult educational levels. She retired from being a professional educator
in 1996 to focus on healing her youngest child. In 1997, she became a certified Usui Reiki master. She has been meditating and a teacher of the Transcendental Meditation program
since the early 1970s.
Mary has authored Awakening from Cancer, and Greywolf: a novel,
and helped edit Tainted Blood? Memoirs of a Part-Jewish Girl in the Third Reich 1933-1945,
as well as Memoirs of Diamond Jenness (Canadian Arctic Explorer and Anthropologist),
and The Camel and a Scorpion. The latter two are
